Street Photography

Vadodara, Ahmedabad,

Mumbai, Delhi

As you might have already noticed, I’m not a photographer. I just happen to have a phone that supports me in my tryst to inconspicuously capture candid moments on the go. For someone like me, street photography offers an excuse to take a walk, to travel, to be observant, to inquire, to empathize, to have a tête-à-tête with strangers, to belong to a certain place for a certain time, and most importantly to forget about and indulge with my surroundings at the same time. It offers me a chance to document the impermanence of the present as it unfolds.

Exploring CMF, lighting, environment, and photorealistic rendering setups on simple everyday objects

Here is a collection of renders and quick designs as part of a series of personal projects I do to improve my surfacing skills, create advanced materials in Blender, learn manufacturing techniques and thus create pragmatic designs. The simplicity of these everyday objects offers me a range of possibilities when it comes to exploring surface treatment and finishes. Moreover, it offers me a chance to observe these humble objects around me and replicate them (through CGI) by setting up custom environments, lighting, and materials to create photorealistic renders.
